What is spinal bath?
The spinal Bath is a form of Hydrotherapy applied to relax the nervous system. It is a non-invasive therapeutic system to relieve stress, tension and other ailments which we accumulate everyday. The spinal bath also provides relief to those suffering from sleeplessness and dehydration. This is particularly suited to busy executives and those who are exposed to considerable stress in their jobs. The spinal bath enables you to refresh your system and leaves your body totally relaxed.
How to use the Capitol Compact Bath Tub for a Spinal Bath?
Lie down in the tub with your head propped up on the more slanted end of the tub, the back stretched flat on the bottom and the lower part of the legs and the feet resting outside the tub.
Once you have settled down comfortably, fill the tub with water to a little over 5 cms deep. This level can gradually be increased to about 10 cms to suit your comfort. Lie immersed in this manner for about 20 minutes. Sometimes, you may doze off, but this is quite natural and continue being in the bath till you wake up. You will feel much more refreshed after such a nap.
At the end of the bath, sit up and rub the back thoroughly with a dry towel for warming up the back. The spinal bath is complete only when it is followed by a head bath.
For reasons of safety, always place the tub on a level ground while in use.
Rinse using mild soap and water. Wipe clean with a wet cloth. Avoid contact with sharp and rough objects to prevent scratches on the surface. Use a plastic mug to draw water from the tub.
